SPAQA will be terminated

At the extraordinary general assembly on March 25, 2026 the necessary majority voted to terminate SPAQA. During the assembly it became obvious that not enough members volunteered to be elected as board members at the next general assembly. In consequence, the remaining board members of the current board will take the necessary steps to discontinue activities in the following month and formally terminate the society. The remaining assets will be donated per bylaw. For further details please refer to the email communication by the president.

For those members that are interested in continuing work in a Quality Association we recommend to contact our partner associations based on language preference (German: GQMA; French: SoFAQ; English: RQA).

For the current members of the SPAQA GLP working group a follow-up solution is currently defined and will be implemented soon. Within the German Quality Management Association a working group "Switzerland" will be founded and current members of the SPAQA GLP working group will be contacted and asked if they want to join. Pre-requisite is a GQMA membership. The working group will meet in Switzerland (for the physical meetings) and the meeting language will be English. In addition, it is planned to maintain a round table with the Swiss GLP monitoring authorities as in the past organized by the working group. If you are interested to join the GQMA working group "Switzerland" or have any questions to this topic, please contact holger.uhderoche.com.

As with the termination of the SPAQA this Webpage will disappear in the near future, please download any information that you personally would like to maintain as soon as possible.
